GRATITUDE FRIDAY - 18 April 2025

1 Peter 2:21-24 AMP

For [as a believer] you have been called for this purpose, since Christ suffered for you, leaving you an example, so that you may follow in His footsteps. He committed no sin, nor was deceit ever found in His mouth. While being reviled and insulted, He did not revile orinsult in return; while suffering, He made no threats [of vengeance] but kept entrusting Himself to Him who judges fairly. He personally carried our sins in His body on the [a]cross [willingly offering Himself on it, as on an altar of sacrifice], so that we might die to sin [becoming immune from the penalty and power of sin] and live for righteousness; for by His wounds you [who believe] have been [b]healed.

Do you ever ask yourself, "If not for God who loved me and gave His only son Jesus Christ to come and die for me, would I be here today? Will I be doing all the things I'm doing?" Royal without Jesus Christ there is no reason to exist after all everything was made through Him including you. #BeGrateful

Without Jesus Christ there is no Gospel at all, without Him, there is absolutely nothing to give to this world so In times like Easter period you don't just remember and talk about how Jesus Christ died instead you take this moment to reflect on every event that happened to Jesus by studying the scriptures and have an understanding of the struggles He went through for you to receive the gift of righteousness in that way you will value the purpose of your existence here on earth. #BeGratefulForJesusChrist
