Proverbs 13:20 ESV
Whoever walks with the wise becomes wise, but the companion of fools will suffer harm.
The people you hang around with, the places you go to, the friends you play with, and the people you give your attention to all matter.
Choosing to surround yourself with people who do and think big, people who are wiser than you are is not pride or you trying to look better than others it's because you also want to be wise, smart, and do big things too.
People may say anything about you, “She thinks she is better than others/ He, She is full of herself/ He, She has pride/ He,” They may say anything about you simply because they don't have the picture or understand the kind of a person that God is building in you.
Don't worry or feel badly about what others think of you Royal, Don't take it personally or allow any negative words from anyone to intimidate you or affect what you are building in yourself. The day they decide to want to be wise they will also do exactly what you are doing now, so just be yourself and let God work on you the rest will adjust.
