Joshua 3 (Read 1 -17 NKJV)
1 Then Joshua rose early in the morning, and they set out from Acacia Grove and came to the Jordan, he and all the children of Israel, and lodged there before they crossed over.
7 And the Lord said to Joshua, “This day I will begin to exalt you in the sight of all Israel, that they may know that, as I was with Moses, so I will be with you.
When you read the book Joshua you will learn so much about the personality of Joshua during his time of leadership after he took over from Moses in leading the Israelites to the promised land.
Imagine if Joshua loved to sleep, complained too much, or ever made excuses each time God asked him to do an assignment. That means you wouldn't have heard or read anything about him, there wouldn't be the book of Joshua today for you to learn and know what distinguished him. #LearnToo
You can learn from Joshua too, wake up early when you have to though your body doesn't want to, and start your day. Be alert in everything you do, and pay attention to God’s instructions regarding your business, your job, your ministry, etc that's how you can have excellent results and be a great leader.
Do you think that Joshua didn't feel tired? What do you think is the reason God had to tell him in Joshua 1:9 to be strong and courageous? That means God already knew it wasn't going to be an easy task for Joshua hence he had to prepare him mentally and spiritually first. #BeStrongToo
Wake up and Get things done Royal, yes you are tired but Get Up, it's for your good!
