An Inspiration For You - Wednesday 26 March 2025

Matthew 6:2-4 MSG

“When you do something for someone else, don’t call attention to yourself. You’ve seen them in action, I’m sure—‘playactors’ I call them—treating prayer meeting and street corner alike as a stage, acting compassionate as long as someone is watching, playing to the crowds. They get applause, true, but that’s all they get. When you help someone out, don’t think about how it looks. Just do it—quietly and unobtrusively. That is the way your God, who conceived you in love, working behind the scenes, helps you out.

As a giver, you must develop a certain attitude and character that attracts more blessings with ease Royal. You may be wondering why are you not experiencing growth or change in your life yet you are a giver, well, maybe you should start by checking your motives for your acts of kindness. #GiveQuietly

Your act of giving shouldn't be done because you want to seek human applause and gain something but should be done because you love God and you are expressing His Love to others too. Don't be a playactor who acts compassionate because people are watching where else deep in your heart you know your acts of kindness are wrapped up with evil thoughts. #GiveWithACleanHeart
