An Inspiration For You - Thursday 26 June 2025

Joshua 1:9 AMP

Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous! Do not be terrified or dismayed (intimidated), for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.”

Have you ever tried to put yourself in Joshua’s shoes when reading the Bible Royal? Imagine how Joshua felt when God told him that he was going to be the one to lead the Israelites to inherit the promised land. He must have immediately thought of all the challenges that come with leadership, the amount of time and work you would put in to accomplish every task, and to make things worse after when he saw everything that Moses went through as a leader he might have felt very nervous about everything, no wonder God had to tell him be strong and courageous several times. #BeStrongAndCourageous

If you ever wondered what it feels like to start something new especially when it's your first time, what it is like to start a new journey, to lead or handle a task that has been specifically assigned to you by God, well, it's exactly how you feel now Royal. Joshua must have felt the same too which is why God had to tell him to be strong and courageous, stay in the word, and never to be afraid of anything He also assured him that He would be with him everywhere he went. #HaveNothingToFear

That is why you must also be strong, confident, and courageous. Don't depend on your strength to handle the task you have been given, your part is to study the word of God, meditate on it day and night, observe to do, and pray at all times. Listen to every instruction that God gives you and rely on the person of the Holy Spirit in that way you have to fear anything at all and you will do every work with ease. #StayInHisPresence
