James 1:19-21 AMP
Understand this, my beloved brothers and sisters. Let everyone be quick to hear [be a careful, thoughtful listener], slow to speak [a speaker of carefully chosen words and], slow to anger [patient, reflective, forgiving]; for the [resentful, deep-seated] anger of man does not produce the righteousness of God [that standard of behavior which He requires from us]. So get rid of all uncleanness and [a]all that remains of wickedness, and with a humble spirit receive the word [of God] which is implanted [actually rooted in your heart], which can save your souls.
God’s word can develop your listening skills, causing you to receive the word that you hear and take time to digest it before you rush to speak and react with anger. This allows you to choose words wisely, respond politely, eliminate uncleanness, give room for forgiveness, and save your soul. #ListenFirst
You don't have to talk every time Royal, be a good listener and take your time to receive the word first so that it can allow you to think and judge right without you being controlled by feelings. #DevelopListeningSkills
Happy New Week Royal!
