1 Kings 2:1-4 NIV
When the time drew near for David to die, he gave a charge to Solomon his son. “I am about to go the way of all the earth,” he said. “So be strong, act like a man, and observe what the Lord your God requires: Walk in obedience to him, and keep his decrees and commands, his laws and regulations, as written in the Law of Moses. Do this so that you may prosper in all you do and wherever you go and that the Lord may keep his promise to me: ‘If your descendants watch how they live, and if they walk faithfully before me with all their heart and soul, you will never fail to have a successor on the throne of Israel.’
When David was about to die after he had appointed Solomon as King he also gave him a charge on how he was going to prosper as he carried his assignment as King. He told him to be strong, to act like a man, and to observe what the Lord required from him. #BeStrongAndActLikeAMan
You don't just grow in wisdom by only claiming it with your mouth Royal, you work for it by doing what the Lord requires from you, walking in obedience to him, and following his commands. Hence David said to Solomon, “ Be strong and act like a man,” to make him understand that he was going to face different challenges in life that would require him to be strong and deal with matters maturely not childish, and handle them with wisdom as God instructs him. #GrowInWisdom
Being a man or a woman of wisdom is not by mouth, your maturity in handling situations will be measured by your response to the word of God, to situations, and your outcome after dealing with matters. #WisdomIsKey
